I saw that the next LAJEDI classes will be on March 8th and 9th. That's good to know. I'll be there at the class on the 8th. These next classes are the weekend right before Wizard World too. So I guess if I need anymore information about Wizard World going to the class on the 8th will be where to get it.

it's max attendance on the weekends we train and on thursdays, that week in particular seems to be more important in terms of what is happening in wizard world and who is participating and working etc etc etc

I can't make it to the LAJEDI class on Thursday. I have college classes that day, but I'm coming to the LAJEDI class on Saturday, so if I miss any important information about Wizard World on Thursday. I'm sure someone can fill me in on the details on Saturday. Anyway I'll see everyone Saturday.

Well do what you can of course. School takes priority. But our classes are starting to become more encompassed as different styles are being incorporated. Yesterday I taught the girls the beginnings of shen-roku ken which is the style that I know of kendo. Obviously pending on what the rest of the instructors dictate we intend to do more staff and whatnot to increase our weapons base. Im even considering getting myself that lightsaber spear that torlin was showing....

Hey great LAJEDI Class today. I had a lot of fun, and I learned a lot. I'll work on my front spins, and my Dad and I will practice that 1,2,3,4,5,6 thing. I believe we should be able to come to tomorrow's class. So maybe I'll see everyone there.

Yea I believe the 1,2,3,4,5,6 thing is the box pattern. I don't know if I can make it to tomorrow's class. My Dad just told me that we have some other things to take care of. Anyway I'll see everyone next weekend at Wizard World.

actually your referring to the 6 point dueling pattern not the box patern...just to set the record straight. Glad you had a good time though.

Yes to Kury you must listen for the 6point system is just the beginning since techinally there are even more but we wouldn't speak of that here. Glad you and your Dad had a great time today, too bad you won't be there tommorrow but I will see you Thursday if not Friday non the less.   |

We will be going over the box pattern as an eventually however so don't concern yourself with that. But this plus the footwork *which I will handle* are the basic catalysts that will lead you to everything else. Be it a formal martial artist or just from a cheographical standpoint if you can master that any technique that any of us or the abbot will teach you will be easier to execute. It takes time but if you hang in there and be patient you'll be alright.

Hey RamZnation thanks for the information. It should really help me out especially when I'm not at a LAJEDI class. It's true it will take a lot of practice before I get better. I'm just a beginner right now learning the basics of Lightsaber combat. I've learned a lot in these first two days of class, I plan on using what I've learned practice it, and then master it. But this will all take time, I know I will get better, it's what I really want. I want not just to look like a Jedi, but to be able to fight like one as well. I want to not only play the part, I want to be the part. That's why I joined the LAJEDI in the first place, not only because it's a really cool group, but because I can truly learn how to fight like a true Jedi. I know I said I was still going to enter the SaberWars, but I've changed my mind. On the way back from Sunday's Class, my Dad and I got to talking, we both realized that we are not truly ready to compete in such a big event like saberwars. I need a lot more practice before I can show my skills to the world. My time will come. For Know I will practice and look forward to that day. So I will not be competing in the Saberwars, and anyway I don't have enough time the last date to enter is like Tuesday. But just because I will not be competing, it doesn't mean that I won't be having a great time. I'll be there to support the LAJEDI. Yea man! The LAJEDI Rules, and I know we will do great. So my Dad and I our right behind everyone. Master DS will be there to support the LAJEDI! Oh one more thing, if anyone was wondering what my Dad's Jedi my was it's "Master Shanks". My Dad was wondering if anyone knew that. I'll see everyone this weekend at Wizard World. Get ready, it's coming. Again I had a great time at the class on Sunday.
