Master DS believe me I understand I have been at this since August and I didn't enter Saber Wars either due to the fact that I don't feel my skills are yet complete enough, I also am still working on improving my skills plus there is always next years Wizard Con.

Im glad you made the decision not to do it. I've been in hundreds of tournaments in my life time ranging from video games to martial arts. It can be very discouraging if you go in feeling you are prepared and in the end you look like a clown to everyone. not to say that is the case with you but I want you to hone your skills. In fact every class video tape yourself you will notice gradual but constant improvements AS LONG AS YOU DO IT RIGHT!!!! For instance you finally picked up the foward spin perfectly, great, now to get the figure eights going. You'll be alright, just consider what we all said and you'll be alright. You and shanks

hey ds, glad that you finally made it out for a class! sorry i wasn't able make it... work. anyways, don't stress too much if you didn't pick things up the first day. i still have problems with the kali eskreema (sp sorry jenzo) box pattern. heck i only got the chance to practice it one day really. i should ask one of the guys, or girls to get me up to speed on it. i have seen some of the elements of the box used in one or two of the fights here and there. lately i have been hiding behind my saberstaff which is no excuse. my point is this... relax everything will get straight with a few more classes. may the force be with you

Torlin our resident engineer. See if you can engineer me or figure out how to create a lightsaber spear. If you can or can find out how to make one let me know. but it has to be durable no less durable than the black destroyer. If I can get a hold of one I can add spear and bo classes to you guys...I can do nunchuks as well but it would be no good for what we are doing...so...let me know dude...

spear wouldn't be hard at all to make, the only thing is the balance point and how long the hilt and blade you would like... materials for the hilt and any design to it... i.e. groves, etching, fins like on the maul emitter and that sort of thing

Great LAJEDI Class on Thursday. I had a great time and learned a lot, and I have to say that I'm improving. Which is great. I will continue my training. I believe I have everything I learned on Thursday down very will expect for the "Throw your Lightsaber over your hand trick." That may be a little tricky for me. I've always had a real fear of dropping my Lightsaber. I remember a long time ago I dropped my Lightsaber and I lost my mind. But I know with practice I'll get the move right. Thanks Gileanofgrey & Barjedi for helping me with my saberstaff training. I know that when we are done, I'll be a deadly weapon. Thanks Barjedi for giving me information about up grading my Lightsaber. I'll be able to do it sooner then I thought. I will continue my training. May the Force be with you. Here's a photo from The LAJEDI Class March 20, 2008

Hey sorry everyone I wont be able to make it to Thursday's class. My Dad is having a few problems, so we can't come tonight. I'll study up and do some practicing at home though. Gileanofgrey maybe be you can give me that clip at the next class. Marius you can give me that screw at the next class or you can mail it to me.

I'm making progress when it comes to my Lightsaber skills. Last night I pulled off the lightsaber or your hand thing. My skills are improving. Great news for me.

yeah that back hand UV spin is a bit tricky. once you get it you can use it in a number of ways both with single and double sabers, pluss i have about 5 variations that i do with staff including a continuous helocopter spin (hand position is a bit weird though). as per the abbott, i am trying to put together a lesson plan for a saber staff class... however my work schedule is a bight crampped right now.
