The tickets where for leaving our cars in the parking lot and not being at the park.
But we where at the park.
Just not visible to the parking lot since we practice in back (like at all our night classes)
This creates a problem as I don`t want another $50 (yes I'm fighting it)
We might have to move to the front grass by the parking lot for night classes.
It will be darker though,and thats a downside.
Not sure what to do
Hey Marious,you got any idea on fighting this..

I thought Tuesday instructor practice was at a different park. What time did it happen? I usually leave by 9:30 and there are plenty of people still around in the Rec Ctr, the library, walking their dogs, etc. I can't imagine them giving EVERYONE still there a ticket. Was it really late?
Technically the park closes at dark, but there are always all those people playing basketball that are still there when I leave. Besides, it gets dark before 6PM this time of year, so I can't see them enforcing it.
I think I'm going to put a sign in my windshield. "Yes, I'm in the park, so don't give me a ticket."

It was at 10:10pm.
The park was deserted, and really dark.

Yeah, I was talking to the Abbott about it last night. Also, I noticed that the park was already deserted except for us at about 9:15 last night. Everyone moved to where they could be seen from the lot.
It seems that, now that the weather's getting more wintery and it get's dark earlier the park is clearing out earlier.

If the division number on the cite was 56, than it was a parking enforcement officer. My supervisor said that is was most likely a park ranger or LAPD that issued the cite for that LAMC 86.03.
