As a reminder, I will be teaching some Eskrima to you all when I come down this weekend. If anyone needs rattan Eskrima sticks, they are $5 each - you will need 2 sticks. Message me and let me know if you want any. I look forward to seeing you all!

I will try and find some sticks that people can borrow. If I can't I apologize. I don't have any extras that are just laying around, though.

I am planning on making the trip down and while I love escrima, I will be attending with my son who is really looking forward to using his lightsaber. Will there be saber practice going on too?

This sounds like fun. But, why are you changing your name every couple of months?

Oh yeah, I am driving 300 plus miles to learn some lightsaber forms. I just offered to teach some because with eskrima, you can transpose it to double saber training (Jar Kai) It's not going to be that much of the class. Believe me, I want to make sure that I drove 300 miles to learn something substantial.

Sure there will be practice We always do some forms, some spin training, and dueling.. That on top of what Caine Drathul plans to teach.. It should be a awesome action packed class. If everyone actually has 2 sabers(or sticks ) it would be awesome cram in some (Jar Kai) as well.

sorry, didn't mean to sound dense. I was just asking because my 3 yr old wouldn't be too happy "playing" with sticks when he brought his lightsaber. Of course I totally see how they can cross over in application and practice. can't wait to get there. I have a feeling though that I will be mostly observing as I work with my son, but I still can't wait.
