do your homework about the car history! check with Kelley Blue Book. check with car max.

I'll reply to you e-mail later. With finals going on right now, this isn't the best week for me.
Quick thing though, when buy a used vehicle, make sure you check the vehicle history (ie car fax the VIN should be available). Check the body work to see that there's no Physical damage and if there is or if the vehilce has body work done to it, see if you can get it for a lower priced that what is offered.
As Sith Lord mentioned, CarMax is pretty good about selling Certified used vehicles.
Yeah, you definatley want to stay away from those trailer office car lots and chop shops.

you can always ask the seller to go to your (or a second source) mechanic to check things out on the car.
make sure the car gets smog check also.

new used cars are almost expensive as unused new cars.. haha.. d**n brokeness has me cruisin around in an 93 Saturn SC2..
