id like to informed to LA Jedi that I am ontrack with making VSA come true. VSA = Vader's Secret Apprentice "Galen Marek" Force Unleashed character.  I have someone who is making me the armor and leather. I have boots, and i might have an old pants i can use. gotta see though. |

pants.
1 nike running pants /or/ 2 cloth sleep pants
i didn't like my idea of using regular black slacks
top.
is actually a tunic, so i need to make a tunic, but with right arm is short than his left arm.
hanging tabbards.
gonna use left over cloth/material
belts & straps
are leather, which im having help to acquire
armor.
are going to be made out of 1/4" styrene (which im having help)
lightsaber.
using ultraStunt Liberator saber for now
boots.
using black army pants
boots straps.
which im getting a costumized boot wrap made.

which pants should i used?  left is the sleeping pants right is the nike sports pants both of them are long length wise, and i will get them hemi up when i figure which one i am going to use. I feel more comfortable in the sleeping pants. |

If the Nike pants have that waterprrof rain coat texture, I would say the sleeping ones might work better.

yo man.. whats the status on this..? its in progress. just have boots and pants, material for the hanging front and back. halloween is comin up.. is this gonna b ready.. ? yes i hoping so. current in the works + leather + armor + tunic but my friend has been sick for a week, but i will make contact him soon. need; + gauntlet gloves + arm communicator (if anyone has a lead on how to make one it would be appreciated) thx for reminding me. |

Communicator? No. Leather stuff? I've heard Darth Marius is pretty good with that stuff. Also, you might see if you can access any tutorials via Rebel Legion and 501st.
PS: For those who have already played & read up on the Force Unleashed, why does this guy look so much like the Fetts and the Clones? Is there any connection?

the only thing i can really think of for the Arm Comm is like a kid size soccer shin guard.. theres a few diff types out there.. u might b able to find one that looks right.. its mostly covered up by the straps.. not sure what to tell u about LEDs for it tho..
seems to me, the hardest part is the belts n the shoulder armor.. i was tryin to figure out how to make this costume myself, but i dont think i have the time or money to make those 2 parts..

Ooh, I just thought of someone who might be able to help you. His website is jedidad.com, I think. He makes custom blasters, wookie bowcasters and all sorts of stuff. Maybe he can help you out.

For those who have already played & read up on the Force Unleashed, why does this guy look so much like the Fetts and the Clones? Is there any connection? I've played the game(s), read the book and Graphic Novel. * By games I mean the Xbox 360, and Wii versions. I see no connection between Starkiller and Fett. |
