Hey Guys, new here. Just wanted to pop in here and say hello and to tell you a little about myself.
My name is Joe and I'm 34 years old. I'm a school teacher in Cherry Valley, California. I served in the Navy as a AO/ EOD for 6 years, and worked as a contract dive instructor for DOD. When I got out I worked at a dive shop in Riverside, where I met my wife to be.
My wife is also a teacher as well. However, not a big Star Wars fan, I love her anyways though. We have a 13 month old son that God blessed us with and he is the world to us. I tried to name him Luke-- but the closest Jedi like name I could get was Levi.
Here's a Pic of Jedi Levi:

I'm a huge Star Wars Nerd! I always have been. My wife made me dig a basement, to store all my Star Wars stuff (anyone that lives in So Cal knows how big an undertaking that is since basements are non-existent out here). I only collect FX sabers now . I have a bunch though (collecting them is like a drug to me) , and a few of them are converted to Lux 3's.
My loving and talented wife made me a Jedi costume and I just ordered my Jedi boots and belt. All I need now is some pouches and the "circle will be complete".
While I was served in the military I studied Kung Foo San Soo under Kurt Bellman (sp?)-- but I never got into swords-- I only studied the sword forms that were required. I'm sure I forgot most of them.
My favorite saber is my Luke ROTJ, but my Mauls are right up there.
So that's me, I plan on it making out LA to have some saber fun with you guys. Looking forward to it.
Thanks for allowing me into your home.
JP
