Not going to Comic Con? There's this thing.....

I am not going to Comic Con.
The sun, moon and stars did not align for me this year.

If you are not going either, consider coming to this:

I was at a Kay Bee Toy Works in Sherman Oaks buying some last minute presents for some friends' kids and also bought a C-3P0 dashboard figure for myself.

The girl behind the counter asked if we like Star Wars and said that for the first time at this location, Friday, July 25th, they were having a midnight release sale of all the "new Star Wars toys- the animated ones."

I am assuming she meant the Clone Wars toys.

I have never been a midnight toy premiere before, and there weren't any adverts in the window about it and this IS this location's first time trying this, so I may be naively hoping that means it will NOT be a mob scene.

If you are not going to Comic Con, here's our chance to get something first!

You will be soreley missed at SDCC. Well, you will be there in spirit.

On a brighter note, midnight release of Toys are pretty cool. I used to that back in High School.

A buddy of mine worked at Toys R Us, and I was the first kid on my block to have a Slave Leia hasbro figure. along with a few others that were pretty hard to find.
