Hello from San Diego!
My son wanted me to be Darth Vader for Halloween this year, so a month ago I purchased a Rubies Darth Vader costume. I've been modifying it all month. The costume came with a 2003 Darth Vader MR Force FX. I started looking at doing an conversion on the Vader Force FX, one thing led to another and now I'm interested in getting a stunt saber and attending one of your classes. Hopefully the one in November.
I was wondering if you have any members in the San Diego area, or if anyone knew if a San Diego chapter will be starting up soon.
Also, I'm sure my 4 year old son would have a blast going to lightsaber class once a month. Is there an age restriction (or any other restriction for that matter)? Does anyone make a stunt saber for a 4 year old?
Again, greetings to all, and thanks in advance for answering my questions.

Hello There and Welcome I unfortunately can not tell you if there will be a SD Jedi Chapter?
I know it is a long drive and we would be glad to see you and your son at a practice, as far as I know all ages of students are welcome, including Padawan Learners. I build my own Sabers but have never made one for a 4 year old, I would probably suggest a 1.25" Dia Hilt with a 3/4" blade, have you checked out the Master Replica, Yoda Saber that might be a good size for him. There aren't kits yet but I have heard of plans to make conversion kits in the future. I hope this all helps and looking forward to seeing you both in the near future. There are classes scheduled for the next 2 weekends in a row.
