Well, not to advertise for a particular group, but since you asked, Mercy Corp. is a pretty good charity. I think they are doing something. They are secular and reputable. You can find their website on line and contact them by phone, too. Red Cross, of course, is another very reputable organization always doing something. Here's a link from the L A Times. www.latimes.com/news/la-fg-aidbox13-2008may13,0,5094361.story I'm glad your family's all OK.

To agree with Varekei, your local Red Cross would be a good place to start, and I'm sure they could probably direct you other specific charities. You can also check with a Local Newpaper or call a News Network to see if they can give you any places to donate food, clothing or money.
If you find a place let me know, I would like to donate some money too.

My heart goes out to everyone in China. Everyone, and I mean every member of L.A. Jedi should at least say a prayer for the survivors. We live in earthquake country ourselves. God forbid something like that happen here. Before I got married, my uncle told me something that I always practice. "NEVER" leave being upset at your friends and loved ones. You never know when will be the last time you see them. With that being said, see you guys soon.
