Reposting this for Jenzo as Poll. I would like to get everyone's feedback regarding our weekend classes. We have been getting a low turnout so someone suggested canceling the weekend day classes, as it will be getting hotter and hotter and the night classes are more fun to light up the sabers anyway. I personally do not want to cancel the weekend classes. That would leave some people (who cannot make Thursday night classes) out entirely. I don't mind lower turnouts, we can concentrate on the people who do show up, and they can get a little more one- on- one instruction. I feel as our group gets bigger and bigger our day weekend classes will have more people. Any thoughts? Everyone!

can i suggest that we make it @ night?
what is the point going to a class during the day, when we can't put our lightsabers on?
im down either way, just a thought.

I personally don't want to cancel just switch the focus. Also night in and of itself would present the issue of a low turnout I think because most people go out those nights. Earlier in the morning wouldn't present that problem but as I learned white folks tend to like to sleep in and I doubt they would show up for an eight am class.
I would go to class one way or the other however, to be honest I wouldn't be as inclined to show up if they were at night.

as bruce lee once said when discussing his early training, he enjoied the classes where there was a lower turn out because it gave him more of a chance to get some extra one on one time with the instructors. of course i am paraphrasing. but in a class where there is a low turn out, there is more of a chance to get someone up to speed, so to speak, on something they do not have a full understanding of... like myself and the box pattern. (i bring that up a lot don't i?)

I don't think we can get rid of weekend classes if we wanted to. We would severely end up hurting ourselves in the end in terms of recruitment and whatnot. As low as the showings may have been as of late we can't close those days off. Some people may just be able to make it on weekends. We kinda have to look at it I suppose from a rock group perspective. If you only have one person in the audience who cares we still gotta perform badass...make sense?

I totally agree with RamZ, Kayden & Barjedi. I really like evening classes, but sometimes I am too tired to play after work.
I am for keeping weekNIGHT classes and weekend Afternoon classes.

I think we need to keep the weekend classes. It can be hard for me to make it on Thursdays, because of school. The Weekends are the best time for me to come to class.

So far we got one vote to get rid of the weekend class.
I'll keep this poll running for a month and see where that leads.

Please don't cancel the weekend classes they are awesome! I'll try my best to come to more classes. I'll be coming to a class really soon. I'm already making plans.

I have to agree with MS too, I would really like to see the weekend classes stay or you could just have one weekend class and add a second weekday class just a thought.
