Does anyone know if nyjedi has a syllabus/curriculum that starts with the above and goes through all 7 styles? Or if anyone for that matter, has put any sort of lightsaber technique curriculum together that starts with the basics and is meant to be taught as a class (series)?

I just recently joined the NYJ and have been to two classes there. Many forms and techniques are covered in class. Master Flynn, General Sun, and Master Cyran are the instructors in our Tue. classes. They cover anything from the 7 lightsaber forms to alphabet forms, escrima and fencing. I haven't been there long enough to see their full curriculum plus the NYJ have been putting together "pocket fights" or choreographed fight scenes between different members for our different events such as the Halloween Parade and the upcoming Big Apple Con. I believe Flynn and others are working on a training DVD that covers all these things and would be a great tool for developing a curriculum in different groups such as the LA and NJ Jedi...
