I've done so many different costumes, I don't know if I want to put in all that effort this year. I think I want to get my SW costumes in order instead.
We are all still planning to hit ST.Monica Promenade after work on the Holyday itself, aren't we?
Also, is anyone interested in going to NotScaryFarm this year? I've never been. Maybe those of us who don't have plans for the weekend before Halloween can do it then?

Can I change my vote to Yes, Yes?
I know you & Mary have plans for the weekend before. But, some of may not. Then again, IN ADDITION TO YOUR PARTY, maybe we could do a NotScaryFarm trip on ANOTHER day. As I remember it, Not Scary Farm runs for the whole month of October.
I think you and Mary are great to host a party. Let us know what to bring. (I'm a pretty good cook.)

Vision Direct has some awesome Halloween contact lenses this year, including 2 inspired by Annakin/Vader's lenses from Revenge of the Sith. I'm just saying.

Now comes fun part which October Saturday shall it be? 10-6 10-13 10-20 As far as costuming I am planning on resurrecting my Mechanic Zombie Costume ala Land of the Dead which I found out never come in Costume to the Press Screening for they will not let you in Unless you did what I had too try to get all that zombie makeup off in the Arclight bathroom with just water, soap and many paper towels. I would say 20 Oct since it's days before Halloween, and the mood will be better.

GForce said he had a previous commitment for the 27th. That's why the 20th. I suppose wearing SW costumes would be cheating, though.

Wait, GF! I thought you had that other party on the 27th with line up. If not, I'm at your house on the 27th for sure ... in some sort of costume. Repeating three questions:
1- What should I bring? (Remember, pretty good cook here. Guacomole or refied bean dip, for instance, look a little gross but taste delicious. Pasta is tasty but kind of looks like worms or maggots [orzo].)
2- Is anyone still interested in doing Knotts, like maybe earlier in the month before it's too crowded? Or Universal? Or both?
3- We're still doing St. Monica Pier after work on the 31st, right? (Kit, I'll be happy to pick you up if you have a ride home. I have to work the next day so, I won't be making to late a night of it.) (Hope to have my "dark jedi" done for that event.)

I'll be there on the 27 in costume (It's a Helloween party after all). Possibly a Sith costume since I'm thinking about dressing in my Character's twin. Still need to come up with a costume, but I still have a few weeks to go.

Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur is the deliciously sweet spirit in the beehive bottle. Made with aromatic honey from the mountains of Germany, Bärenjäger is a delightful way to spruce up your tea or top off your favorite dessert.
What’s the history behind Bärenjäger? Hundreds of years ago, farmers and beekeepers in Europe created a drink called “meschkinnes,” which is similar to mead, the potent potable favored by knights and warriors of yesteryear. Each farmer had his own secret recipe. The Bärenjäger recipe was created by the old Königsberg, Teucke & König Bear Trap Company. In fact, Bärenjäger means “Bear Hunter.” Today, Teucke & König no longer make bear traps, but the label on their Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur portrays a hunter using the ancient device to snare a bear using honey as bait.
In a way, Teucke & König still uses honey as bait, attracting people to their tasty Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur. Deliciously sweet, Bärenjäger can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks, as a mixer in thingytails, or as a topping for desserts. Add a ½ oz. of Bärenjäger to a cup of hot tea for a Bee Tea, a tasty way to shake off the chill, or try these other Bärenjäger recipes:
Killer Bee Layer a half shot of Jägermeister on a half shot of Bärenjäger. Jungle Shake Add 2 oz. of Bärenjäger to 2 oz. milk, 2 bananas, and ice. Blend until smooth.
Honey Nut Cheery-O ½ oz. Bärenjäger
½ oz. Irish Cream
½ oz. hazelnut liqueur
Add milk
Red Bären Add 6 oz. club soda to 1 oz. Bärenjäger. Add cranberry juice to taste Honey Dew-Me 1 oz. Bärenjäger
1 oz. melon liqueur
Add pineapple juice
Bee Breeze On the rocks:
½ shot Bärenjäger
½ shot Chambord
Cranberry juice
Splash of pineapple juice
The Promised Land Float Irish Cream Liqueur over a shot of Bärenjäger.

If you & Mary are willing to host yet another party, I am more than willing to attend. MrZap's (that other SW group) family is planning to have a Boxing Day party, though (12/26). I already promised I would try to attend. (And I think I might have a conflict that day already.)
But, I think you should start a new thread for it, don't you?

Looking at the party pictures and seeing the party pictures and also the ones we took on Halloween, I can't believe Jenn doesn't think she's photogenic. I don't think she's capable of taking a bad picture!
