What kind of blade is that? Is it LED or EL? ...or is it just a Random balde? The looks like it could possibly be an Ultrasabers Anakin AOTC (but don't quote me on that). I'm pretty sure Master Kit might give you a better answer.
...Star Trek convention you say? Hmmm I might attend a few to see if I find some Star Wars props such as this one (Little obvious I'm not a Trekkie).

the blade itself, it's solid acrylic like the random ones. the hilt is the real issue... it was purchased before TPM, it looks to be somewhat inspired by Lukes in ANH. you guys should see it sunday as we both are planning to go to the class. as for SW stuff at a trek con... you can get tons of stuff from lots of sci-fi films. the guy that had the saber had a Sandman blaster from Logans Run, and several other nicknacks. anywho it's just a stunt saber no electronics but the hilt is hollow and the blade holder holds a 3/4 inch blade. thanks for the help.

Omg BarJedi I know the guy you are talking about he showed me that blaster 2 or 3 years ago and I have been attending Celebration Conventions since the early 90's and the Pasadena one has becoming more of a Sci-Fi Summit, I have actually got to know the actress who played the Romulan Comannder in the STOS episode while dressed in my Jedi Costume. Unfortunately last year it move to Burbank. But to me the Hilt looks a custom creation and don't ask me who's?
