14th Annual Children's Arts Festival (Oct 7th)

Hey everyone, I heard about this even and firgured it may be an even that L.A. Jedi can attend (considering Obi-Shawn's going to be there, I'm sure they will have no problem with us showing up in costume). The event will be at the Sony Studios in Culver City from 11am-3pm.

The event is $90 per person (for attendiees) according to the website, but if we plan ahead to see how many of us are interested and call in ahead of time maybe they won't charge us if we say we want to volunteer with the kids.

It's a cool idea if we could go in costume? But I really can't afford the $90.00.

Ditto what GForce said. If they offer a group discount for people who come in costume & maybe do a little demo for the kids, I might be able to swing a lesser amount. After all, I'm sure it's going for a good cause & all, right?

Yeah the $90 sucks, that's why I brought it up here to see if maybe we can figure out who is interested and call them up to see how many of us could make it and call to see if we can get a special offer, or maybe (hopfully) not pay if we volunteer to help out the kids.
