ohhhhh a new saber...... ;D
I don't see on your list / how are you going to keep the blade in place?
are you going to tap a hole in the blade holder yourself? what size screw are you going to use to hold the blade in place?

Thats what I was asking for. It looks like thats what I forgot. The thumb screw. I should be able to pick it up at The Home Depot.

Marius there are a couple of other things I noticed too, Why did you get the 4(aaa) battery pack when the 4(AA) is only .70cents more and will give you longer run times? Also you bought a 3/4"Dia Blade when the Emitter is machined for a 1" Dia Blade so you will need a reducer and you will also need a mirror to go on the tip, I don't know what you were using for a Diffuser??? You might want to Email Tim(Stryder) and ask him if it is too late to add or change things? Home Depot won't have the Thumb Screw you"ll have to hit a local Hardware Store but if you don't mind having to use an allen wrench then a 10/32 set screw will do the trick and you can find those at a hardware store locally.

hey bro use the 10 32 headless set screw, it's like the one on mine and jens obiwan and my maul. the surfboard fin key on my key chain... fits the set screw perfectly... i might have a few extra lying around, i will grab one for you.
soldering help, always a good thing... i bought a battery operated soldering gun for my maul kit. i figured it was cheap, and it wasn't like i was soldering computer parts for NASA so it worked for me.

It looks like this is going to be more work than I thought. The power button won't fit, so I have to drill the hole larger. Drilll another one for the clip botton holder. G-Force!!! It looks like Tim didn't respond to my first e-mail. Is this common?

TCSS is only a one man business. please be patient with him.

in the tutorial section of the plector labs website that taks about making a harness to hold things in place shuch that they will not wiggle around inside the saber. you can make one pretty easy. either that or i have seen on the tcss forums where someone stuffed small bits of taped cardboard in the hilt to keep parts from wiggling around. remember to use heat schrink to cover the solder joints on wires... i think that's about it for me... i can't wait to see the saber!
