Let's just hope that LAjedi's turn out at SDCCI 08 is bigger than this one (last year) when we take the same Snapshot at the welcome sign.

we seriously need to get jumpin on this guys and girls. Is Saberwars attending? Are we goin' solo? Are we gonna have a booth? Do we just go ourselves and bum around? This event MAY sell out, so if we need to buy tickets, ya know. Let's pray on this.

it's far far too late to get a booth. i am going and i hope that most of us go that can go. for the booth i was looking into itt, and it will be a pretty penny, something like starts like at 1800 and goes up depending on the size of the booth, location and all that jazz.

im all set already... November 1st is when i purchased my 4-day membership.
i just need to confirm with my friends that live in san diego, just 10 minutes away.
i always drive there early and last year i got there in time to park under the convention center. i go early because i get good parking due to my asthma, I don't want to have an attack while im far away from home.

I seriously do not know if I want to go, the site doesn't impress me and I mean if you guys got some advice let me know.... can not judge a convention about the website, you gotta experience the con @ the place. u know the saying.... don't judge a book by its cover...

ahhh....
first time @ comic con. I was the same way. i haven't experience a comic con before, but I went i was like WOW this is fun.
lets just say its bigger than Wizard World, and so much more ROOM, and so much FREE STUFF To get.
as a place to stay, I can't offer any because I am staying with some friends already that know me, and I don't know if they will allow any more people there already. they are from my old church, and mostly guys at the household.

Let me put it to you this way. My wife is not a big comic book or Star Wars fan, and she had a GREAT time!!!! If you enjoyed WWLA, you'll enjoy Comic Con SD.

You can try at least going for one day and see what you think. Problem with that is the Distance and ticket availablity ...along with lodgging.
Solutions: Car popoling. Get tickets ahead of time, don't like it, then sell the rest pitch in with someone who's got a place.
...Besides. You never know if you might run into Darth Blanket at SDCCI 08.

I will be at Comic-Con 3 years running now... I always get my hotel and tickets in in the beginning of January... It's ridiculous how many people go there.

It is so much fun, Mister Gileon of Grey!! We just bought tix, walked around, checked stuff out and posed for pics! HUNDREDS of people asked to take our pics. I normally don't like that kind of attention but I just looked at it as role playing.
I think we should all individually buy our tix, as it WILL sell out.
It will be fun if LA Jedi is together as a group!
It is also fun to not be tied to a booth, we are free to roam.
I don't have connections to get us a booth- Master Flynn hooked us up at Wizard World.
And if a bazillion of us get together and share hotel rooms, it will be cheaper for all.
San Diego jacks up all the room rates that weekend because they can.

so heres the question.
who paid for their tickets ?
you don't get your badges until you check in on the day you present your receipt to the workers there.
i have everything in order, expect for transport (my car has still be giving problems, so i've been borrowing the truck)
