I would love to come but I have plans on the 8th. The 15th is cool! The 22nd is cool as well but I will probably be doing last minute Xmas shopping that day. But, your party will be at night, right? And you are in Torrance, by that Giant mall! I can shop til I drop during the day then unwind with a drink at yer place at night. So, I vote the 15th or the 22nd. But, I have reluctantly accepted that the world does not revolve around me (It's oK, I've accepted it, you should too. Don't cry.) and if you pick the 8th, the 8th it shall be! Let me know!
BTW, anyone reading this, G-FORCE THROWS GREAT PARTIES! There is lots of food and alcohol and he has a huge house at the end of a cul de sac, perfect for swinging sabers, and he decorates.... And he has cool friends and we all have a good time!!!!

Ima have to agree with Jen, let's think aboot it logically: the 8th is too soon. The 22nd is cuttin' it close. That leaves the middle, the 15th. Now, most likely no one has anything goin on the 15th...most likely. But yeah, there's my two cents...and whatever day is picked...
maybe I'll make it, HA!

The 15th seems to be a good day with me.
*[glow=Yellow,2,300]Note to all:[/glow] I'll be bringing approx 10-15 Guatemalan style Beef Tamales. Maybe more depending on how many people will show up.

Let me know, so far I'm bringing about 15. I'd like to bring atleast one per person, but they are a bit expensive since I have to by them considering I don't know how to make them and they are a popular christmas dish.

Since RamZ is bringing tamales, a traditional Central American XMas dish, I'd like to recommend that we encourage everyone to bring something traditional to the way their families celebrated the holidays when they were kids.
I'll try to bring some Greek delicacy that we added to the Turkey/Roast etc, like Greek XMas cookies, spinach pie or something. Maybe I'll even get adventurous and try a Channuka dish like Noodle Kugel (which I never made in my life.)
Are we doing the "white elephant" gift exchange? (Since there will also be LAFF people there).
I'm looking forward to this. The last party was such fun & it makes me very happy when LAFF & LA Jedi party together.

Not 100% sure if I can on the 22nd, but if I do show up...
...Then I'm still bringing the Tamales.

FYI: Here's how the LAFF gift exchange works:
Purchase gift good for either sex. Keep the price around $20 or less. Wrap gift. Bring to party. Put under tree (or whereever the gifts are being kept). Take part in quiz, non$raffle or however the order of gift selecting is decided. When it is your turn select a gift or steal someone else's. Each gift can only be stolen two times max. Anyhow, that's how they did it last year.
I know these white elephant exchanges tend to be similiar, but this is the way LAFF did it last year.

Coolness!
I had a secret Santa gift exchange with the clan last night, so it's pretty fresh in my mind right now, and I'm sure it still will in 3 weeks.

Hey LA Jedi! G-Force, (Marc) LA Jedi’s biggest supporter, major player, master sabersmith and all around great guy, has opened up his X-mas party (Oops, soory PC-er’s: HOLIDAY party) to all LA Jedi, LA Fan Force and Lining Up.net members. He lives in Torrance at the end of a cul- de- sac where, at his Halloween party, we all wound up in the street swinging sabers- an act I would be happy to repeat, even in my party dress! For those of you who have not experienced one of G-Force’s parties, please know that he is a creative, delightfully excessive decorator and generous with the food and drink. His Halloween decorations were unequaled and I understand his house looks like a winter wonderland at this time. For newer LA Jedi members who might feel too new to come to this party, please know that Marc and his wife Mary are gracious hosts, friendly people, and everyone is welcome! They have a ‘more- the- merrier’ attitude! Bring a dish, a dessert or drink to keep things flowing. G-Force always has plenty, but if everyone brings a little something it will make it a great party. There will be a ‘white elephant’ gift exchange, meaning you may steal a present someone has opened from their hands a max of two times, then they get to keep it. So bring a wrapped gift with no name and don’t break your wallet. 20 bucks or less. (If anyone wants a re-gifted, unopened, SW Ep 1 Monopoly set- let me know and I’ll point out which gift I brought! Hee- hee!) Details: Holiday Party @ G-Force’s House in Torrance, CA Saturday, December 22nd Starts at 4pm. Goes til…. ? Go to lajedi.com, then go to forums, then look for the Xmas party thread. There is a link with directions and possibly a map. I think this is it: www.rougejedi.proboards78.com/index.cgi?board=calender&action=display&thread=1194981376 Hope to see you there. G-Force’s parties are becoming legend!!! Jenzo Valares Secretary LA Jedi Lajedi.com
