What's going on Everyone, RamZ here.
I came across info for a Convention going on at the Shrine Here in L.A. As far as I know it's already going on, but a big day to go is Sept 23rd and Tickets are only $8. This might be a good day for L.A. Jedi to get together in Jedi/Sith gear and walk around with Lightsabers as a group. I Posted this on the Calendar instead of the Ideas Thread as it's an up and comming Convention and it's also Local.

HELEN SLATER starred as SUPERGIRL in the 1984 film that followed the series of SUPERMAN films starring Christopher Reeve. HELEN went on to star in several hit films, such as THE SECRET OF MY SUCCESS, RUTHLESS PEOPLE, THE LEGEND OF BILLIE JEAN, and CITY SLICKERS. HELEN was the voice of TALIA in the BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES, and currently guest starring in such television series as GREY’S ANATOMY. HELEN will be featured in an upcoming episode of SMALLVILLE.
HELEN will be signing autographs from 12:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M. There is a charge for the autograph which comes with a Supergirl photo (or you can bring your own item for HELEN to sign, but the autograph charge is the same). Martial Arts great BRUCE LEE started to film GAME OF DEATH and staged several sequences when he received the call to star in ENTER THE DRAGON. BRUCE shut down filming of GAME OF DEATH to star in ENTER THE DRAGON, with plans to complete it next. There was one hour of unedited footage filmed, and now you can see these uncut scenes from GAME OF DEATH, featuring BRUCE doing several takes on each fight scene with actors such as DANNY INOSANTO and KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR. This is a rare opportunity to see the uncut GAME OF DEATH footage, so don’t miss it!
DIRECTOR JUSTIN LIN (THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS: TOKYO DRIFT) has a new comedy called FINISHING THE GAME coming to theaters soon. JUSTIN will appear with some of the stars of FINISHING THE GAME to preview scenes and discuss the film. FINISHING THE GAME takes place during the 1970’s, and concerns a casting call for a BRUCE LEE look-a-like to finish BRUCE’s last film GAME OF DEATH. Many oddball characters turn up like Breeze Loo in an attempt to fill BRUCE’S role. FINISHING THE GAME stars ROGER FAN, SUNG KANG, JAMES FRANCO (Spider-Man), and DUSTIN NGUYEN (21 Jump Street). It’s expected that FINISHING THE GAME mini-posters will be given away free.
THE CONVENTION IS LOCATED AT THE SHRINE AUDITORIUM EXPO CENTER, 700 WEST 32ND ST. IN LOS ANGELES.
The Shrine Auditorium is just North of the USC Campus and is near the cross streets of Jefferson & Figueroa. There is plenty of parking located near and around the Shrine Auditorium as well as plenty of restaurants.
